Ohio State University Launches Study on Phosphorus Loss

Jay Martin, ecological engineering professor at Ohio State University, is leading a study focused on fields at high risk of phosphorus losses in the Maumee River Watershed. Martin and his team will partner with consultants to work with farmers to test fields and implement BMPs. The consultant and farmer will be compensated for time and for implementing and maintaining practices. Names and locations of farmer participants will be kept confidential.
