On September, 26 at 12 p.m. EDT, ag retailers are invited to participate in a free webinar to discuss current nutrient management opportunities in the Western Lake Erie Basin.
The webinar will focus on the current state of the Western Lake Erie Basin and what ag retailers can do to improve water quality within the Basin in the wake of the Toledo water crisis. Speakers include:
- Kevin Elder, Ohio Department of Agriculture, will share his thoughts on how ag retailers can more effectively promote nutrient management solutions to their farmer clients. He will also review pending regulations at the state level and what retailers can expect for the future.
- Eric Schwab, Ohio NRCS State Agronomist, will share information on NRCS resources available to ag retailers, recent updates, and the upcoming EQIP signup period.
- IPM Institute will share a brief update on our new Phosphorus Loss Reduction Handbook for Agronomists.
