According to a set of case studies recently released by the National Association of Conservation Districts (NACD) and Datu Research LLC, soil health practices such as cover crops and no-till can result in an economic return of more than $100 per acre. The findings were based on a three-year study focused on corn and soybean farmers who experimented with cover crops and/or no-till, and quantified the yearly income changes.
