The USDA’s National Agricultural Statistics Service (NASS) is calling all producers and/or landowners who lease to producers to participate in the 2017 Census of Agriculture. Time is running out, and currently the count is lower than the 2012 census. If $1,000 or more of agricultural products were produced and sold in 2017, then NASS urges you to take the census. The Census is the only comprehensive source of agricultural data for each state and county in the nation. Data from the Census is used to inform decisions on farm policy, rural development and new farm technologies. The Census also provides information to help create assistance programs, loans and insurance programs for producers. Please help the ag community by filling this important document out!
