The USDA says the U.S. corn and soybean crops continue to exhibit the effects of the historically slow start to planting.
As of Sunday, 93% of the corn crop has dented, compared to the five-year average of 99% and 58% has reached maturity, compared to 85% on average, with 15% of the crop harvested, about half of the normal pace. 56% of the crop is rated good to excellent, 1% below a week ago. Read more.
